As the youngest female cabinet minister in Canadian history, Karina Gould has been a fierce advocate for the people of Burlington since she was elected in 2015.

Growing up as the daughter of a small business owner, she learned early on the value of hard work and the importance of community. Karina's experience, compassion, tenacity and strong work ethic drives her a tireless champion for the people of Burlington, steadfast on delivering results.

You can count on Karina to stand up for you, every time. It’s why she ran for office in the first place: to make this community and this country a fairer, more equal, more welcoming place for all Canadians. As a Member of Parliament and Cabinet Minister, she has made elections fairer, led Canada’s international development efforts, and helped deliver $10-a-day childcare.

A lifelong resident of Burlington, Karina is proud raise her family here and call it home. Before entering politics, she worked in international trade and holds degrees from McGill University and the University of Oxford.
